Firefighters were called to a fire today on the site of the Cafe Royal.

The cafe was a favourite haunt of playwright Wilde, who became so drunk on absinthe he started to hallucinate. Wilde claimed he saw a waiter watering a field of tulips. Celebrity chef -thug Gordon Ramsay held his wedding do there.

Please do not use UPPER case like that No need to shout! The Cafe Royal is closed anyway, but was an absinthe watering way back when.
