Hello again I have a special party with absinthe coming up. Pernod? Would that be a good absinthe for me? I want to serve my guests their absinthe with a drip fountain (french style) and so I thought Pernod Absinthe might be a suitable choice. Is it strong with licorice?
Thank you so much

Pernod is certainly an absinthe name as far as history goes (Pernod Fils was the first distillery to produce absinthe commercially) I have not tried the new production but I am sure it is a good choice.

Yes Pernod Absinthe has quite an anise note playing there, i.e licorice.

Nouveau Pernod would be nice if not for the Yellow No.5.
