Hiyah green fairy girl, can you tell me about which absinthe I should drink in Rio Brazil. It is named as absinto, Obligado!

Hola, Absinto Camargo is the only Brazilian absinthe that I know of, it is made by Remo Lovisolo, an Italian distiller. Try that and let us know what it is like please.

Neto Costa Absinto and Hapsburg (very high proof) are available in stores in Brazil but there are much nicer drinks like Caipirinha :-)

Neto Costa Absinto? That is a new one on me! I suppose it is Portugese.

Yes, the clue is in the use of the word absinto!

Sarcasm is the lowest form of wit, Nick. I mean that I know Brazilian "absinto" is Camargo, so I assumed that Neto Costa absinto was from Portugal. Maybe it is from Macau or Sao Tome? Have a glass of Plague Water and chill old boy ;-)

Its hot and sticky in rio, what better way to watch the sun set over sugar loaf mountain than with a nice ice cold absinto. I'm with ga though I LOVE caipirinha. (food stinks though)
