Take a look here, it comes from an historian called François de Capitani...
"Artists of the era, Picasso, van Gogh, Lautrec, Dali, everyone painted absinthe and was fascinated by it,” he said.
“I can’t tell you whether this different feeling in the mind when drinking absinthe - more inspiration or a more developed artistic sense – was real or imaginary, but the drink has something very mythical about it.”
"this different feeling in the mind" exists, so how can it be imaginary? Or maybe he means that it existed....discuss.

Beware! This is one of Fee Vertigo's traps IMHO. Does absinthe have a different effect to other drinks, yes it does. FIN.

What's that noise outside? Is it
1. The clatter of polished boots on the cobblestone, an army marching to impregnate the God fearing with Popery
2. A horse and cart
3. Hail stones
Sometimes it is just 2 or 3
