Absenthe? Are you sure you don't mean the one with southern wormwood (which has no thujone) that is legal in the US?

By absenthe you mean absente. Absenthe/ absente has two varieties: one with real wormwood (the new one) and one with a different type (the old one)
Both are legal in the US as the new one has no detectable level of thujone and the old one has none at all. Is the new one called absenthe perhaps.

Absenthe sounds like a perfume to me. Wormwood in a bottle? You mean how much wormwood is used in the recipe I think. This usually translates into thujone content, the more wormwood there is, the more thujone. Absente has no thujone as it is made with another kind of wormwood and the new one Absente (Grand Absente) has less than 10ppm.
