Confusion thy name is absinthe, absint etc. Absynth is the archaic spelling and is found on medicine bottles. Absint? Danish? There was a brand called Absint Bennoh which was available in Denmark in the 60s :-)

Absente is a brand and not to be confused with Absenta which is Spanish. Absinth is the German / Swiss- German canton spelling. Is there any that I missed?
