french, swiss, czech, spanish...... basically european, originally created in the 19th century as a medicinal drink (artemisia absinthium has healing properties), but later embraced by the artists of the period for the effects of absinthe (it helps to open up a person's creative side of mind). what is the name of the absinthe you have?
